Language packs rage

Ubisoft, ♥♥♥♥ you! once again for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason I am unable to change the ingame language from Russain to English. WHY??? Don't you ♥♥♥♥ing understand that there are people who would like to play a game on different languages, since they're available??? This is how I learned english in the first place, through playing games and watching movies, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people, intentionally or not, are doing the same! why do you language lock your games, what is the ♥♥♥♥ing point? why for Assassin's Creed 3 you can donwload game with whatsoever language pack is being available, while for Watch_dogs and AC:Unity you can't? Why do I have to download game 2 times, one time from steam, and another time from torrent with english language files so I can replace them in steam version?

Again, Ubisoft strikes again. Pirates were able to play ACU since 11th, with full support of English VA. While people who bought this game and wanted to support devs are getting this. Nice encouraging to buy your games, Ubi.
PS: Open support tickets guys, that'll deliver the message.

I had the same problem.... you can change the audio language in the options menu

For automation, here's what you can do:
1. Copy file "localization.lang" to "localization - Copy.lang".
2. Create a batch file (e.g. startACU.bat) in a ACU folder and paste there following lines:
copy "localization - Copy.lang" localization.lang
call ACU.exe
ping 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 1000 > nul
del localization.lang

Save it and make a shortcut on your desktop. Works like charm.

the only way is to download english version from torrent and replace the files inside your steam version. sorry, i cannot provide you a link, 'cause i might get banned for it. just google it

i think you do, since you do not pirate anything, just make a cosmetical change. although i am not sure if online play is also region locked, so there's no guarantee that we will be able to play with other countries while having RU\CIS versions
