Another way to launch with English VA, provided by wraith_of_sands on ubi forums:
1. You need to put the english sound and movie files in their respective folders
2. Regedit - change the language setting to English(US)
3. Make the whole Unity section in the registry read-only or it will reset to Russian
4. Now the clunky part - you have to start the game from steam and as soon as it starts syncing delete the localization.lang file from the main folder. Make a backup.
Works fine for me.
Thanks man.
For automation, here's what you can do:
1. Copy file "localization.lang" to "localization - Copy.lang".
2. Create a batch file (e.g. startACU.bat) in a ACU folder and paste there following lines:
copy "localization - Copy.lang" localization.lang
call ACU.exe
ping 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 1000 > nul
del localization.lang
Save it and make a shortcut on your desktop. Works like charm.
