Text language problem. Text in Chinese, voices in English
The voices are in English, and the menus are all in Chinese. I can't read anything, so navigating menus is impossible.

Had that issue, solved it by deleting language.lang in my steam AC unity folder, I keep having the subtitles in japanese (or some other asian language) though... Can't quite figure out how to change those.

In main folder - localization.lang

found the actual solution

go to your Assassin’s Creed Unity steam folder and go find localization.lang folder and change it to notebook type. then double click and change it from whatever language you are currently in to any one of the ones steam says the game approves just type in for example "english" and all the written words will be in english.

The subtitle language can be changed in the ingame settings under sound
