i had the same issue with the version still saying 14.9.
i did the same to install it.
uninstall, reboot and install the new driver seems to be the best thing to do with AMD drivers.
I'll try when get home. Hopefully the game gets better framerate, at least more stable.
Yes that already happened with a previous beta catalyst, but the driver paquage number still changed. Uninstalling and installing worked.
I will not be able to see the difference since the game isn't release yet in Europe. I will however give my honest opinion on the performances of the game.
My rig : i7 4970k @4.5ghz, asus r9 290x 4go, corsaire vengeance pro 16gig 2400mhz.
(I will try the game maxed out at 1080p with and whitout v-synce and for AA, mostlikely not the most powerfull one, will see the options on that).
thats what was giving me my acu.exe stops work issue last night
if i turn it back on itll do the same so confirmed it
sux no fps overlay now or temps or all that
smooth tho onxce i found my right settings in optuions
running high and hbao and fxaa
ultras point less for me no 4k
my montitors nice 144 hz on from phillips and i need at least 60 in any game since i had my strokes my eyes see the differences
If it didn't change than it's not installed. I had to do what the two other guys suggested for it to work. Dowload the 14.11.1 catalyst and insted of clicking install, click uninstall. It will uninstall amds drivers and than reboot. Once you're back on the desktop unstall 14.11.1 and it will work.
That's what I did by following what they suggested.
