Any way to lock the frame rate to 30fps for AMD GPU?
Basically like so many others, my frame rate will go anywhere from 24fps-60fps and it's slightly annoying. Tried using RadeonPro but it didn't seem to work. I seem to be able to do it with some games but not others.

Any ideas?
In this case i would be happier settling for a reasonably smooth-ish 30fps

You can use MSI Afterburner and lock the framerate using any value you want inside RTSS.
Also, you should be able to that with RadeonPro I believe, using Adaptive Vsync on half refresh rate or Dynamic Framerate Control and choosing 30 fps.
-Dynamic Framerate Control
This feature also known as DFC tries to keep the rendering frame rate up to the limit you have specified in Keep up to field. By limiting the maximum frame rate, it is possible to stabilize some engines where frame rate varies a lot. For example, if a game is keeping frame rate between 50 and 80 FPS, you can set a limit of 45 FPS and enjoy a smoother experience due to stable frame latency. Even if the game is capable to deliver 60 FPS, DFC set to 60 FPS as target can also help by smoothing the frame latency, try titles like Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the stuttering seem on those games with plain V-sync is removed by using DFC + V-sync on.

-Keep up to XXX FPS
Specifies the target frame rate of DFC feature.

You're right. I completely missed that in RadeonPro. Thanks for the help

Just tried it there quickly by enabling Double V-Sync but no it did nothing. I probably missed something but i'll have to wait till tomorrow to check.
Let me know if there's anything i may have not checked correctly.
I clicked Apply settings etc

Well, I just tried it, and it worked, just had to create a profile for Unity on RadeonPro and set the custom settings.

EDIT: Also found a way to get rid of the damn stuttering in the game finally, by setting the option "Flip Queue Size" above 3 on RadeonPro the stuttering was completly gone, and now the game runs at a steady 30+ FPS on an R9 270, although turning that option On seems to remove the 30 FPS cap aswell.

Yeah just treid it there and it works fine. Not sure what mistake i made last night. Funnlily enough i have the same GPU but my i3 is struggling with the crowds. Think i'll stick to the roofs lol

Also, just going into the ACU.ini file and setting Refresh Rate to 30 will cap the framerate. That's what I had to do in order to get RadeonPro running with the "Flip Queue Size" option aswell as having the FPS capped.

Might try that later just for curiosity sake
