Difficulty

Hi All

Is anybody else finding the fighting to be difficult compared to other AC titles. With the other games I could at least defeat the enemy without to much difficulty. I am sure the enemy is faster and tougher than in the previous instalments. In this game I die more times than not.

They forcing you to go stealth in game and also try using your equipment more like cherry bombs and smokes and always stock up on consumables. Its more realistic this way and gives players the real feel of being an assassins, you need to like a ninja lol. Try taking out high ground units and work your way down and stuff like that on mission. Also if you run from like 6 guards dont run straight or climb buildings, go straight to a crowd or go around corners because they are super accurate with pistols and can really gun you down fast.

Hi Maniac

I like the game, but when you start to die a lot is does get rather annoying. I am doing a (PRIVATE) CO-OP mission were I am suppose to protect these two ladies, but keep getting killed by 6 or 7 badies. I might have to end up getting some help and go for a PUBLIC CO-OP. I have tried 6 times already with no Success on PRIVATE.

lol its still rather easy actually only died 3 or 4 times the whole campaign but once you get level 5 equipment the game becomes even easier than it was at start

Thats Good to hear. Level 5 here I come. I dont mind difficult games but sometimes this one really takes the biscuit:)

Yeah co-op is difficult alone but which gear do you? like TakesOneBullet said get level 5 gear, it takes time but makes the game easy. Yeah maybe you should try online just dont widen the search when it asks you to then you go global. I live in South Africa so if i matchmake with someone from the US ill get 500+ ping that means the game is unplayable. There is thread where you can check to find people to play with. I was playing fine with a friend from Norway the other day too, but yeah some Co-op mission will need to be done co-op like the defence ones.

I believe my current equipment is 2 or 3 diamonds. I have the foil sword and gun.

Yeah you still new in the game lol :). When you do a mission youll see they will have the diamond rating next to the mission name for you to let know how difficult it is, some co-op missions require like 5 diamonds, i was noob lol and had level 2 gear and got killed the whole time :D. Also if you check on your map some districts are difficulter than others. Tip for making quick money is invest in the lock picking skill and max it out so you can open all red chests, most of them give like F5000 each, thats a crazy ammount in 30mins i had F100000.

Everything is doable solo, even with standar gear, two main tips though...

1. Always dispach high ground enemies first, since they can spot you from far away very easily.
2. Berserk blade and Phantom Blade are overpowered, berserk any two brutes and they basically do all the heavy work for you dispatching their own friends. (If you're in ah urry you can always finish things quickly with a couple of Poison bombs), and also, always aim the Phantom blade manually, headshots are a guaranteed kill and the hitbox is fairly forgiving.

yea they are really hard to kill and are way overpowered compared to other games

i wish they went back to the stories where the assassins were commited to the creed and didnt get kicked out or like 4 where they never even joined the assassins

the game forces you to think about ur kills rather than be a god. You have to take out sentries and other guards quietly before moving on to the main target stead of shouting "YOLO MOTHER FO! IM HEEEEERRRREEREERRRRRR!!!" *stab stab, pew, pew* and a pile of cropes lay around you. sometimes its even better to not kill someone so you can just get passed some guards.

My Sentiments exactly. Sometimes when I am in a sword fight and I press E to block the attack it doesnt work. Also when 7 badies swamp you it puts you in an impossible situation. I know the other AC titles chucked enemies at you. I remember in 2 or 3 being sorrounded by 10 badies. I polished them off without breaking a sweat. Yes I did get hit, but not as much as I am finding in this game. Sometimes the block/counter doesnt seem to register in UNITY.

edit: Also I react to the counter/block when the gold bar flashes above their head and sometimes that doesnt register.

Ill rather use a rifle for headshots because phantom blades ammos are F1000 at the shop for 5, bullets are cheaper and most of the time the guards ignore the gun shots if you hidden where you shot from, Rifles also have more range dependant on which one you own and bullets easy to get from looting guards, i know looting for phantom blade ammo also workings but most of the time they dont have ammo for it.
