They did the same thing to Watch Dogs they turned off many options so that the game would be on par with the consoles and as a result it didn't look anything like the E3 demos. Fortunatly a helpful person made a mod to unlock said options and give us PC players the experience we were hoping for.
Ubisoft is becoming really annoying with their "parity" making their games not as pretty as they could be on the PC just so console owners don't whine about how we get a 60fps 1080p game with prettier effects and they don't.
Also note, that 30FPS is a pretty common thing on the consoles. Because the input via Gamepad is not as ''direct'' like the input with the mouse, you don't ''feel'' the differnce there as much as you do on PC.
And what Ubi is talking there is just BS to calm down the masses of console buyers. They sure won't say them that 30FPS is worse, as console buyers are the big majorite.
I don't get it, I assumed it was the PC they were talking about since they made such a big deal about it and even PC gamer mentioned it. Why make a big deal about something that's normal on the console? Ryse ran at 30 and 900p? why make a big deal about this? I jumped instantly to conclusions. Sorry.
news sites = more money trough ad's
To be honest, it indeed is kind of a big deal, as it proves how weak the new consoles are.
They basically are in The Evil Within.
Yup. The Evil Within you can unlock 30 at your own risk.. What the hell happened to "New consoles will finally give PC players more power"
