Did I miss something or does the game never inform you that Ficcaron is Rose's brother? I gathered all the clues in all the locations and nothing even suggests they're siblings. How can I avoid false accusations when important info is missing?

YESSSS. I did this earlier today and falsely accused someone. Had I known that Ficcaron was Rose's brother, I would have accused accurately on my first try. That ONE little detail was not anywhere to be found until after you finish the case. That one kind of upset me.

Nice to get confirmation. I'm curious, did you also accuse Pascal?

Yes, I did. Pascal complained about how the lead, whose name escapes me now, was an inferior actor – it was a weak link, really. I sat there and thought about who else it could have been but there was nothing!

There was a note that Rose received about someone taking care of both her problems. I couldn't link that to anyone and it made me waste time combing over the clues. I reluctantly chose Pascal because the others had no motive.

Old as heck thread, but it seems like this is one of many things missed as this game was rushed out. Less a bug and more a mistake.

Just looked this up as I accused Pascal too and see no clear indication that Ficcaron was the culprit outside of the fact that the costume was burned next to his trailer, which doesn't say much.

I was about to accuse Pascal, but decided to consult the online guide and confirm it. I know it's not how it should be played, but I'm not chancing to be punished for the poor mystery design (by losing the quest reward).

I'm late to this thread but I agree. I too accused Pascal. He clearly disliked Barto and disparaged Laraunt. Based on the note to rose about both her problems going away it made sense for him to dislike the two and do something about it, maybe he liked Rose too? There's really zero indication that Ficcaron is a suspect, all he said really was that he's great and everyone loves him.
