Howto start a new game on SteamDeck?

Since there are new steam achievements how to delete old savegame and start new game?

What i always did on pc, logout of Ubisoft connect (Uplay), Disconnect from internet, delete your local save and start the game. Then it cant sync with the cloud and you will be able to start a new game. Next you connect, they will ask you what save to use, the old or new.
