I'd like to report an issue to Ubisoft regarding several Assassin's Creed games not working on Windows 11, except for the classic older AC titles up to and including AC Black Flag and AC Rogue. During the holiday season, I wanted to have an AC marathon, but AC Unity stopped me in my tracks.
I'd like to inform the developers that on Windows 11 version 24H2, Unity, Syndicate, and AC Origins do not work for me. These games crash either immediately upon loading or during the loading process. And it gets worse—the game freezes so badly that I can't even return to the desktop using normal methods, forcing me to power off my computer manually. This is very frustrating.
Guaranteed to work for me, tested: ac1, ac2, brotherhood, revelations, AC 3 remastered, Black Flag, Rogue, Odyssey, Valhalla and Mirage.
Not working: AC Unity, Syndicate, AC Origins.
Please fix this as soon as possible.
Thank you.
I play the non-Steam version on Ubisoft connect.
