Set the process affinity to only a few cores (something like half or 8, whatever's lower) any session you think you're going to run into a cutscene. Or just do it every launch, or make a batch file shortcut (I haven't done that, but the info is out there.)
sorry but i have no idea what you mean

he means if you are running 8 core boot game up hit windows key then right click on the Taskbar click on services than right click on assassin creed unity then you will see it so if you have 8 cores untick four of them its that simple hope it helps

Hey SynC_Nightmares,

Thank you for kindly reaching out after crashing between sequence 2 and 3.

If the kind advice shared by others does not resolve this for you, I would recommend to complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li] to configure your device for the game.

If you then continue to have trouble, would it be possible to share your system specs?

Many thanks

"pls fix this" i almost finished the game and the game is more like a pre Alpah version then a AAA game.

So much bugs, problems, bad performance etc.
Enemies in building has X Ray vision
i teleport outside the map when i open a chest
Keyboard inputs dosnt react on climbing most the time
enemies can shoot around a corner
NPC flying in the air
Cant climb up even is there a way to get up there it dosnt react.
sometimes he dosnt drop to the ground and stuck in the wall
enemies spawn in front of me and attacking me instant

but dude we need to bring microtransaction thats more important then gameplay

Pretty sure it has to do with Windows 11 version 24H2, there's another thread talking about it, only fix I found for right now is to use Battle Encoder Shirase (BES) and limit ACU.exe's CPU usage to 80-90%

possible but due to me not knowing stuff like this, i'd rather have a solid solution than a temporary fix

I am running into another issue that is probably game performance related and I cant figure it out right now. The issue is that I'm running the game alright but i'm just not getting the fps up to sync my monitor, even if disable some stuff like txaa and so on. The game just stays around 120-130fps as opposed the 180 i expected. For comparison, Cyberpunk is running in 1440p on medium settings at around the same rate.

My game keeps freezing after replaying Sequence 11 Memory 2 where you have to assassinate La Touche. It freezes after the cutscene ends. Tried it 4 times in a row and every time it keeps freezing... It's so annoying. I had it with other similar missions as well.
ubisoft advised me change my internal refresh rate of my system to 60hz as i was on 165hz.
this helped me get past the problematic freezing of the cutscene i was on.

i advise others to possibly try the same thing
Disabling the ubi connect overlay fixed it for me.

Tried all the other work arounds (limit cpu to 90%, core counts, lower settings, refresh to 60hz only etc.) none fixed the issue.

Hope this helps others.

I FOUND A SOLUTION FOR AC UNITY ON WINDOWS 11, search ac valhalla in dodi-repacks.site (https://dodi-repacks.site/assassins-creed-valhalla/) scroll down and there is a link named: "Windows 11 24H2 CrackFix" despite being for valhalla it works on unity (works on cracked and original copies of the game too), after downloading it, just put on the ac unity main folder and launch the game.
It worked smoothly on free roam to me, but on certain missions/coop missions i was having major lag and sometimes even crashes, for that open the game and taskmanager, right click on ACU.exe and "Go to details", right click again on ACU.exe and set CPU Affinity up until CPU 5 or CPU 7 (uncheck everything else that is not CPU 0 to CPU 5 or 0 to 7), this will limit the amount of cores the game can use, for me only leaving CPU 0 to CPU 5 worked the best.
YOU'LL HAVE TO SET THIS EVERYTIME U OPEN THE GAME, (there are ways to make a script for this but i don't know how :p)
