I seriously doubt Ubisoft or Nvidia would lift a finger to fix this issue.

I have to revive this old post to say "Thanks!" for this suggestion.
I thought the flickering was some idiotic idea they implemented for the Bridge/Rift missions, but when I noticed the YouTube artifact walkthrough for Belle Epoque didn't have the same flickering, it dawned on me that maybe it wasn't by design and could be fixed! That led me to this thread.
After getting two migraines from the Bridge missions, and symptoms starting as soon as I began Belle Epoque, bumping down to 347.88 was a lifesaver for me.
