Maybe he doesn't want to wait a week after release. If he decides he likes what he sees then let him pre-order the game. Who cares, it isn't coming from your checking account or anything.
You don't need to be a prophet to use simple common sense and anticipate something that has happened on almost every launch from Ubisoft in recent memory. Being skeptical is completely justified knowing their track record.
First off, I was never hating on the game. I was merely pointing out the fact that Ubisoft doesnt release finished products on launch, among other issues.
Secondly, this is a forum is it not? I'm allowed to express my opinion on issues that are on topic.
Third, don't tell me what to do.
What if they disappoint you in what you think will happen? Not to mention, Ubisoft or not, pre-orders are a double edged sword. And Ubisoft is using the pre-order thing no differently than the others. Its either hit or miss. Good thing I don't complain when the servers are down at launch for a game (but Steam is going to take much flak for that).
