Accidently started the Dead Kings DLC, and need to get out.
I am only on sequence 4 of the main story, and the DLC clearly is going to spoil a lot of the story for me. I am trying to go back without starting it, but when i press continue it throws me right in. Ubisoft apparently doesn't know how to start DLC right. I rather it be outside of the main story option. If i cannot gget out without having to play the DLC, then i am just gonna drop this ggame all together, and play something else. Maybe go right to syndicate. I beat every AC game up until now, so this is dissapointing.

Did the same thing the other day, only way out is to finish that first mission which is annoyingly long and then you can fast travel out.

Damn... I am trying to avoid spoilers too. I have yet to finish the main story, and they started off spoiling the story, so i am sure i am bound to run into more. Might just skip all cut scenes see if ti helps. Thanks for the info.

I didn't find the beginning of the DLC was super spoil-y. after you finished the first 1-2 missions you can fast travel back to Paris. Same thing happened to me before I finished the main missions/story.

I did the exact same thing. Really annoyed me when the first dialogue you hear is a minor spoiler. I don't own this on Steam, but on Ubisoft Connect. I just went into the save folder under Program Files x86 and deleted everything and started back from the beginning. I only played for around 20 hours, so it wasn't a huge loss. Got up to sequence 5. Oh well, lesson learned.

I think the problem is that the DLC fast travel point and the Cafe travel point are so close on the map, it is really easy to accidentally click on the wrong icon and start the DLC.

The DLC start confirmation is also really similar to a normal fast travel confirmation, which doesnt help. They should have made the DLC confirmation red or ask twice.

The first mission doesn't spoil too much, aside from the one big obvious one. Weird thing is, I don't remember that happening in the main story at all. I could've just been zoning out or something but I spent the whole rest of the game looking for it and... anyway.

I agree, this was handled terribly. But fortunately, you can escape after that horrible first mission.

I completely agree that it should have been a double opt-in choice. Like, proceeding to this area will start the DLC. You haven't completed the main story yet. Are you sure? Something like that.

Hey! Thank you for your reply, we will pass your feedback about the double opt-in choice.

Sorry for the spoilers :(
