Question about Sync points.

So i've been lurking around, and many websites have mentioned that I can obtain Sync points from running Coop missions. This is where my question comes in. Is the Sync points are 1 time deal per sync point per mission? or can you essentially get unlimited sync points if you run the coop mission over and over? I'm assuming the sync points are a one time deal, in which case, would that mean there's only a set number of sync points in the entire game? And if so, is there a guide somewhere that details exactly where each sync point is obtained?

Sync points are a one time deal, which means that there are a set number of sync points per mission on set locations. The total number of obtainable sync points is 40, which is just enough to unlock all upgrades.
