Use of Disguise skill/Skill not working (PC)

Hey guys! I really need some help here. I purchased the Disguise skill in the game I am trying to use it and I can'get it to work for the life of me. It is set as equiped in the game-it is the only skill available in that menu as all the others are locked (I am at some 21% of the game). Tryed to go through the tutorial at least 10 times and the skill doesn't work in the tutorial as well. It says Press Z... I do just that and nothing happens. I thought it could be due to controlls. I tryed to map the "Use skill" key to something else, didn't work as well, restore to defaults and does not work anyway. So I am all out of ideas and I could really use some help right about now. Hey Jürgen,
This is an old post and I hope you figured it out in the end ... for those who are still struggling: You are probably using a non-English keyboard.
So you gotta check which letter is placed in that exact same spot where Z would be on an English keyboard (which is placed: left bottom).
In German speaking speaking countries for example, you need to press the letter Y instead of Z ...
