When is the best time to do Dead Kings?

I'm at Sequence 6 at the moment, have about 43k in money, wondering when the best time is to do Dead King's expansion in terms of rewards

I decided to do the new DLC mid game because the game kept suggesting I do it... big mistake. The DLC crashes after taking a few steps. There is absolutely no way to 'abandon' the DLC and get back to the main game. The only way to get around this is to delete all of your save data and start the game over, which is a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ solution.

I get seamless play through the main campaign and then the DLC just crashes. Don't risk running into the same problem.

I have finished ACs storyline many times, i recently downloaded it again and decided to start with the dead kings, you can actually get back to the main story line if you press Esc and then go to progress tracker/single player missions.
Also i have to disagree with you, the DLC doesn't crash, i played all of it without a single problem happening.
