Do I need uplay?

PRobably a dumb question, bbut I've got family share with my brother, and he owns this game.
Do I need to be on his uplay account to play it or something?

hello, I can't connect to my uplay account I don't know why but it's annoying its doing me this for all the ubisoft game because it asks me for the key so I would like to know if we can find the key to the game

If Uplay is asking for game activation keys when launching games, verifying the games in Steam[ubi.li]should resolve this.
