60 fps cap in AC unity
I used to allways get 65-100 fps on maxed settings in ac unity (besides shadows on high instead of ssao and only fxaa instead of msaa) .
with my i5-6600k @ 3.5ghz , a gtx1060 gb OC from gigabyte and 16GB ddr-4 2400mhz Ram

NOW I HAVE SOME SORT OF FPS CAP AND I ALWAYS HAVE 56-61 fps . (I got the game on uplay btw)

I have had a virus recently which i have already destoryed (I dont know if that has anything to do with the issue)

Are you sure you have Vsync of? This caps the framerate to the refreshrate of your monitor.

I AM NOT!
Where can I disable V-Sync? I got a brand new Asus Monitor with 21,5" and 60Hz.

In CSGO and Bf3 i get way more than 60 fps btw , just if that matters

You can disable Vsync in the graphic settings of Assassin´s creed IV.
