Guilliotine gun not working

Ok, so I was playing ac unity and recently got the guilliotine gun unlocked in the dlc. But every time I want to shoot it, it switches to the phantom blade and it won't let me shoot it. The icon for mortars doesn't pop up either and it keeps saying weapon full. The only time I can shoot it is when I switch to a rifle and go back to it.

Press the buttons while aiming with the guillotine gun to shoot. It's like a smoke bomb.

No it's not that it's that the icon for the guilliotine gun doesn't show up so when I equip it I still only have phantom blades or bezerk blades

Try restarting the mission where you first earn that gun and see if it shows up. Just go in your progress tracker and maybe it might work again.
