Can AC Unity run on Windows 10?

I know that this appears fairly obvious, but someone said that I should be fine playing this game, with Windows 10 not listed in the minimum requirements, and I just want to check whether I would be able to play this game with Windows 10.

Rule of thumb... every game released after Windows 7 works on 10.

You can play windows 10 to a point till it kicks you out of the game.

I playing AC Unity on Win 10. But! The game kicks every 10-15 minutes! I wrote to UbiSupport. They say that this game officialy does not support WIn 10.
I found only one way to solve this problem: before start the game i remove XAudio2_7.dll from winows/system32 folder. After finishing the game i return it back. The game works well and all sounds works too, except the sound of intro))

By 'after finishing the game' do you mean that I have to complete the game before I can fix it?

I had the same Issue game kicked me of every 10-15 minutes. But it started to happend when i updated AMD drivers to version 16.12.1 version. When i rolled back to version 16.11.5 games work fine.

Yea I was having the issues too with Nvidia, got the bundle games as well. Syndicate does the same thing after awhile it'll randomly kick me.

You can also turn off Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service instead of renaming XAudio2_7.dll as some game uses that dll such as Metro Last Light unless you can stand playing it without any audio. Street Fighter V also has the same problem as it kicks me out of the game after 7 mins. and I found out the fix also worked with Assassin's Creed Unity

I know this post was made in a while but I just want to say that if you're having trouble playing this game on a Windows 10 as I did, you could try the Compatibility Mode on Windows 10. All you have to do is go to

 <C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Unity> 

right-click in the ACU.exe, then:

 Properties > Compatibility > Compatibility Mode 

tick the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select the Windows version you want to use, I'm using Windows 8 and it's working just fine.

Huh. I just tried it now and it's working fine. I don't even have to do any of the fixes posted here anymore.

Ubisoft support said they think it's an overlay application or a third party interface utitlity. After uninstalling geforce experience, shutting off steam overlay, and the xbox app stuff, and the logitech utility, it's still crashing on the logo.

I had that problem a while back with my amd graphics card (RX 580), it is your system getting too hot. you need to make sure your fans are running to fix this issue.
