Unresponsive controls

So, I started playing ACU. After all the Uplay BS and tons of crashes I managed to start the game. At first I didn't had any problems with the controls (Using a Dualshock 3 controller), but recently the controls became unresponsive, with both the controller and keyboard + mouse. This results in Arno walking/climbing on his own, the camera start spinning etc...

I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same, and hopefully has a solution.

GTX 1060 3 gb
i5 7400 CPU 3.00 Ghz (3.5 with turbo)
8 gb RAM

I see this happen at random although it's rare on my gaming rig. All you can do is restart the game. They never bothered to fix this issue and other problems since the game got mostly mediocre reviews.

Don't expect any new patches unless they decide to do a remaster in the future.
