Splash screen and close [POSSIBLE FIX]
If you're like me and have decided to download Unity (Uplay) while it's free, you may have been disappointed when you went to open the game and you were met with a splash screen and an instant close.

Things I've tried:
-Reinstall to a new HDD
-Update drivers
-Offline mode
-Change resolution through config file (As a few people suggested)

Turns out my fix was along the lines of changing resolution, however I also had to change my resolution in windows from 3840x2160(4K) down to 1600x900 (Doesn't have to be a specific resolution, just one that is lower than 1080p)

Once the game launches you can set windows back to your usual rez and change to your desired rez in-game.

As I said in the title this is a *POSSIBLE* fix. It worked for me when nothing else would and it may or may not only work for people with monitors with a resolution above 1080p as the game doesn't seem to like trying to start in higher resolutions.

Hope this helps.
