5 Golden Diamonds

I got the game from Uplay and I want to know is it true that you cannot get 5 Gold Diamonds (The Gear Rank above your assassin rank) after playing the Dead Kings DLC?

I think OP means just the visual golden diamonds.
In that case, yes it's true. As soon as you start the DLC and get the lantern, you're permanently stuck with 5 greyed out diamonds, no matter how high rank is your gear.

I completed the Dead Kings DLC and have 100% sync, and 5 gold diamonds for gear statue momento gallery, and even though I completed and collected everything, my momento collection says 96% on the desk in the middle of the trophy room.

How come you have gold diamonds if the other people are saying that the Dead Kings DLC steals your gold diamonds from you and makes them become inaccessible to you?

So which is it: can you beat the DLC and still have gold diamonds? Or is that impossible?

He is refering to the gear statue in the Cafe Theatre Memento room, you can get 5 Gold Diamonds there just by having full legendary gear. What I am refering are the Gold Diamonds displayed under your in-game username, which is not obtainable if you played the DeadKings DLC

Oh, thanks for the clarification. So why don't they fix it with a patch then? It should be pretty easy to fix.

I don't even know if they have a team on this anymore since its so old, they fixed a lot bugs, but a lot of glitches like this one can still be found
