Food Chain - Extremely Annoying NPC mechanics
So I'm playing the Food Chain mission.

As I'm saving the woman, she keeps giving really stupid orders.

While I try to obey her orders, she starts doing idiotic things and acting like Leeroy Jenkins constantly.

As a result of her very stupid behavior, I have to keep repeating those sections over and over again.

Then after about an hour of that crap, I received a Crash to Desktop.

Just before the CTD, as I was trying to stealthily kill the third or fourth wave of her thug series, she went Leeroying on me again and said "I guess you need me." What?! I never said I said I need her! Quite the contrary: her engaging the enemy stupidly is ruining my whole game, and not helping me in anyway whatsoever. And if she had stayed put, she wouldn't have started an awkward cluster**** of a battle which is probably what resulted in my CTD too.

When I reloaded the game, I was out of the whole mission...which I had spent an hour or so progressing in before the aforementioned different hour of me having to repeat the Leeroy Jenkins imitator sections.

This is one of the most aggravating gaming experiences I've had in a while.

There should be the ability for me to give the woman orders to stay put and not move unless I tell her to.

Alternatively, they could have made it the same as the save the blacksmith mission, wherein the NPC doesn't do stupid things, and only advances when all the enemies in the relevant zone are dead.

As it is, this mission is horribly-designed. It forces you to lose due to the automatic stupid behavior of an NPC that you have no control over.
