but that's my personal thing
first things first Ac Syndicate looks far better and is also better optimized.
I am nearly finished now and have to say
A lot of the missions were pretty boring.
The weapon and gang update system is o.k and fun at first but pretty lazy later on overpriced.
If you like the Victorian era the game is nice and London looks really amazing.
The AI is stupid and some missions are broken- for example the
"carriage protect" side missions.
If you buy syndicate buy it cheap. The story is not that entertaining and most of the time you kill some Templars and free some kids to get all the areas of London. The rest is sidemission.
There are some good new points and ideas but not that special. Its an o.k. game to me.
To unity well I can´t tell much I´m still stucked at sequence 2 first mission-
caused by a loading bug and after I reported it to the ubisoft support I´m still waiting for an answer after 3 weeks now.
So its not playable now.
What I´ve played so far unity has problems with framerates
Suddenly pop up of people or architecture
clothing physic issues.
And blurred low quality textures
I play rogue at the moment
True, my favorite games til Revelations but i like the pirate settings too.
I repeat, I am in the sequence (can not remember the number perhaps 5), in which Arno going into the store and fire the weapons of the Templars, until now the story is boring me.
Sadly the story is weak, it's plot is good but it lacks emotional pull and the game's technical issues let down the game. IMHO, it's a standout of the franchise in terms of gameplay, but the story really makes it a passable and forgettable experience in the lore of the franchise, which is why I can understand people recommending to skip to Synidicate. Arno is alright, and Luisé (that's her name, right?) is boring in general and only got SLIGHTLY interesting too late into the game. Character development was a major issue and if they got that right, it would've been a lot better. Though, IMHO, AC deserves a bit better than a simply love story.
Overall, I love this game, it's best aspect is really just exploring, doing side activies and missions. They're actually a LOT of fun and the world is beautiful adn the gameplay is a great improvement over the last couple of AC's. If you're not into the story, you don't have to progress further.
