Resolution is low

I started the game but the resolution is so low I can't read any text. I tried to change the resolution outside of the game by going to the ACU.ini file and changing it manually, but it changed right back to 320x200 when I started the game again. I tried to change it in-game but again, the resolution is so low I can't read the text. Any way to fix this?

edit the acu.ini in the documents folder, after you are done, try marking the file as read only.

It's already marked as read only. I've also just tried to unmark it and mark it again but it's still at a crappy resolution

Nope, what I did was to complete the introduction and when able I pressed pause to change the resolution via in game menu

same here . it starts like 300x something i cant see nothing so i cant go to settings and fix it

At the uplay forums someone suggested this:

Open this file:

Documents\Assassin's Creed Unity\ACU.ini

Edit those lines and set the resolution you would like to have:

DisplayWidth=XXXXX
DisplayHeight=XXXXX



I tried it and now the game doesnt even launch
