Training Golem Exploit?

The Training Golem is as far as I understand meant to turn money into EXP.
But at least in my game the golem returns not only Exp but also more Gold than what you put into him. I tested it twice. I paid 50.000 Gold and got 127.500 Gold and 127 Prisoners back.

This seems to me like an exploit as you can farm Gold and EXP by repeating this infinitly.

Just curious, where do you find the Training Golem? Did I miss it somewhere?

The dwarven-engineer(?) in Shelter offered to build it for me at some point. Afterwards it stands in Shelter and can be used anytime

Dang! I fought him only once in my first game as Neoline. I thought 50,000 gold was too much for another round and didn't even check the results. I replayed the old saved game and got 151,500 gold, 1,375 exp, and 145 prisoners. Dang!

Well, this is my "I feel stupid" moment for the week. I didn't even realize that. Thanks for sharing it with the community.

I tried it once too and didn't like the pittance of xp and I didn't even notice the gold gained.

It costs 500,000 to get the golem, but if you farm/battle him enough times, you get all that back and much more.

Each battle is 50,000, the 500,000 is the cost to get the golem.

I made a community guide if anyone cares to view it. Has some easter eggs in it as well.

I guess so. As it is, don't waste a single gp on the "training golem". It's worthless.
