You will probably spend around 1–2 hours solving gentle little puzzles (nothing big-brain), all wrapped in the coziest vibe. It feels especially perfect for anyone who loves scrapbooking and stickers (aka me living my best life). Placing everything together piece by piece, just satisfying, while the story slowly unfolds. 𓂃🪶

The art is hand-drawn, and that just makes everything feel even more charming and personal. Big plus for me as well. It is 100% one of those games where you can just sit back, relax, and soak in the story without any stress.

A big thank you to Glowfrog Games for giving me the opportunity to play this game! This was right up my alley of cozy, relaxing and creative and I enjoyed my time with Pieced Together.
Pieced Together is a game about a friendship from childhood into adulthood. It follows Connie and Beth as their lives unfold and is told through the perspective of putting together a scrapbook. It's a simple concept, beautifully executed. Each photo explains more of the story, with letters, and stickers, and other bits of memorabilia to help show the story between them. There is room for some creativity here as you can place most items where you like in the scrapbook and decorate with a rather large assortment of stickers that are made available. There's no pressure here, there's no real way to get something "wrong" (items that are not put in the right place at first are highlighted and you have the opportunity to move them to the correct place when that applies).
The art is cute and fun and the music and sounds relaxing. I beat this in just over an hour and a half and I would definitely recommend it to people like me who enjoy a simple, cozy and relaxing experience that features a meaningful story. Would I recommend it 9.99 full price? Probably not, as it's a bit short for that price, however your mileage may vary! On sale, definitely! It's a great cozy game experience!

So much to love about this precious gem of a game, I only wish it was a bit longer. It's a quaint story of friendship and growing up, with just enough input/choice from the player that you still feel like you're contributing to the narrative. Gameplay is just unique enough that it feels familiar but still new and exciting. I hesitate to compare it to others in the genre, especially as they generally have much heavier themes, but Pieced Together is reminiscent of a much lighter version of The Roottrees Are Dead . The creative direction and art style are so perfect for the narrative and, in the age of AI slop art, feel definitively made by human hands.

Small note: I found myself frequently wishing for more customization options for the stickers - the ability to flip, make bigger/smaller, etc. would be a good addition!

I cannot get enough of Pieced Together, recommend it very highly, and am genuinely looking forward to more from these creators. If you think you're interested, buy it.
