Tutorial - Anyone any idea where the Dye tile is?

I need to place the Dye Construction on a dye tile and even though I have the the resources button on I still can not see any tile where I can place my construction.
Must be going blind.
Anyone help please?

Have you explored the whole region the city is located in? sometimes there are a few unexplored hexes that hide a resource that shows as a build extractorbut you can't see it so you cannot place it. Otherwise zoom out a bit and once you select the extractor the dye should light up.

it's a few tiles up your starting position, it's glowing purple... tell me if you don't see it, i'll upload a screenshot for you ! :)

The glowing purple thing to the north. You can see it when the tutorial first loads - you don't have to uncover it.

lol I had the same problem. I kept searching and searching, then I suddenly realized it was blinking in a unexposed(dark) section of the map. :-)

I also had problems with the upgrade unit screen. I didn't realize I needed to drag the armour over to the empty character slots....my upgraded units were carbon copies of the originals. :-)

One way to make it easier to find those pesky resource tiles, select your city and any of the resources, watchtowers or destroyed minor race villages will show as a small circle if they can be built. If they are out of your visual field, there will also be an arrow to show which direction they lie in. Just click on the circle and that will set it as a build order.

They like to hide "underneath" the HUD at the top, and also in the corners, but this can make it a lot less frustrating to find them. Just have to check your buildable list in the lower-left to see if you have anything.

I found the reason for the problem. The resource stood as Gold when I found it. But became dye after I hid FIDSI and showed it again. The tutorial change a Luxury Resource to dye when you get the quest but the change doesn't show at first.
I hope this will help someone in the future.

I couldn't find it then I found this thread and realized the purple glowing thing was the right spot. WHAT WOULD BE HELPFUL is if when I zoom out, the proper location would show up on that zoom out view.
