how do i give the minor faction the glassteel it wants??

got the glassteel and now when i try to parla with them to give it to them they dont let me parlay saying that i need to do the quest. First game by the way

It sounds like you are doing the right thing, moving an army next to the village, right clicking, selecting Parley.

I think you might be a at the wrong village though ... there might be another village in the fog of war, which should be highlighted by those dust rays shining out of the sky.

If it's not that that can you post a screenshot, picture being worth 1000 words and all?

yeah, i fumbled around and eventually figured out the issue. i thought i had the glassteel, but at the time i wasnt very well oriented with the UI and was misled by another little indicator. I thought i could get the glassteel from a little village with an indicator above it so i was flabbergasted when i didnt get the GS after i destroyed the town. lol its been rough, but im enjoying the process of learning it even though that has seen me get curb stomped by the AI on more occasions than i can count.
