Is this quest bugged or something? I can't seem to finish this quest even though my hero is alone with no other units attached to the army. I've tried attacking it just with my hero and won but I failed the quest because it eliminated the village. When I tried to interact with it, there was no other option except attacking. I think this is the correct village too cuz it has a ray of light indication and when you hover over the village there is a quest on it.

There is also another quest active from the same race and region but from a different village (3 village in total in the same region) and it is telling me to give the village some kind of resource. Not sure if this is a bug or intended but I think this might prevent me from finishing the Guaran games quest line. Or I might be doing something wrong ?

Yes, it probably is the other quest preventing you from completing Gauran Games. The Lost Tales DLC quests seem to permit other pacification quests from the same region, and these other quests block further parleys. I am sure that this is not intended.

bah! i just ran into the same issue, i guess there's no way to cancel quests so we're just SOL?

I guess another way is to kill the tribe with the quest you don't want lol

This quest is bugged to all hell. The Guaran Hero spawns ontop of the village and won't move off in the subsequent rounds. You cannot target the Guaran Hero for attacking without first targetting the village. I've been finding that this game has alot of really annoying bugs like this.

Another one is the Free Our People quest. If you pacify the target village via quest before attacking it to rescue the victims then the quest will be uncompleteable and stuck on your quest list forever.

I only just started playing yesterday. I am now wondering if this is even going to be worth the time if I am just going to keep finding really irritating bugs like this.

I have a similar problem. My solo hero is standing next to the village. But she cannot parlay and there is no Guaran there to fight. Perhaps this is because I have already conquered and taken the other Guaran village in the area.
