However, it's still an annoyance, but, meh.
Op as hell and really really helps a Rover out.
Anyway, the eternal winter thing dun' seem real, probably a bug on your end.
I'm on turn 430 right now and still switches like always, had a 20 turn long winter or something like that though I believe.
Thought it was pretty epic, was able to tell something was up with the way the seasons were changing turn after turn before it finally settled on winter; was like a battle of the seasons.
It's a fun little surprise, and I'd opt for it if there was an option. It throws a fun little kink in the usual cog of 'Summer-Winter' that you get used to.
I imagine it'd get kind of boring though, after several games of hitting eternal winter and pimping your troops out with adamantine...
I only play on endless, haven't tried any of the other speeds yet.
