I know I'm probably in the minority, but the biggest problem I had with Humankind was the color scheme. So many pastels my old eyes were constantly struggling to see clearly. Just ended up not being worth the hassle. Glad I got to try it on game pass without having to fork out any extra money. Here's to hoping if they do EL2 they don't go with those colors.

I'm not optimistic because their last two big projects seem to have been fails (Endless Space 2 and the other Civ-like thing).

To be fair, the endless legend was a diamond in the rough.
Endless space was always sort of overhyped imo. So wouldn't really say endless space 2 was a fail per say, it was better, wouldn't put it in a "good" category personally.

Interested in what they'd do with Endless Legend 2. They had a lot of decent ideas with humankind even if execution was so-so.

If Endless Legend 2 does indeed come out I'd love to see it placed on another unique world of the Endless universe to see what sort of interesting challenges might show up on those worlds. Perhaps Shar or Veil would make a good pick. If memory serves there are something like 21 unique worlds that could all have fantastic potential.

Amplitude is tudio that I've discovered 8 years ago. They never failed me save for ES2 hacking system. If they announced EL2 today with -30% price and info that game will be out in 18-28 months I would buy it right away.

One request - if this is true: (1) give each faction a different end story - not every faction may want to leave the planet and will have the same reaction to leaving the planet if they do. (2) Include alpha centauri level movies for wonders and victories. Endless legend 1 is about 75% of the way to being as good as alpha centauri - lets move it the rest of the way!

it sounds great if true bit at the same time, EL2, given the past releases and woke check boxing, it could also be terrible. Not to mention ELCP MADE the game good and playable. I have no idea how anyone can stomach vanilla aside from being a mod phoebe or inept when it comes to applying mods.

Ether way not going to hold my breath. There is plenty of other fish in the sea and end of year Sins2 should be in decent enough to play for a while as well as other games. I will just consider it a nice surprise if they do release EL2 and without its "message" nonsense.
