Crash on Startup

Bought this game a few days ago on sale, went to start it up, and haven't been able to play.
Every time I launch it, I get the intro up until the Endless Legend screen, after a second or two, it crashes.
I have tried every fix I have found, including reinstalling, switching to 32 bit, and deleting the game's folder located in documents.
I recieve no errors, but in output_log.txt, it seems to fail to load
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Endless Legend/EndlessLegend_Data/Mono/fmod_event_net64.dll
and some other similar files.

Can anyone help me out here? If I can't fix this soon I'm going to have to refund D:

windows 7 64 bit service pack 1

16 gig of ram

amd fx 8350 4.00 ghz

gforce 970

all dlc disabled still wont start restarted the computer several time did the beta thing nothing work

his is very frustrating

Game runs great for me on WIndows 10 64 bit. Is it past the free upgrade period. Why are you running Windows 7.

Why would you not want it.It does everything better than WIndows 7 and it getting better everyday. Windows 7 will fall by the wayside as games are made to run on WIndows 10 . You will have more and more problems with new games as time goes by. And when Microsoft ends official support for it in I believe Jan 2017. They will no longer update it any more.It has been many months since I had a single problem with any game. ANd as soon as that year goes by which I am pretty sure it has its going to cost you $150..YOu are aware that WIndows 7 does not support Direct X 12. Its already on the path to being obsolete.

Just could not figure out why anybody would not upgrade unless they have an old PC that is not supported by WIndows 10. Then they don't have a choice. A lot of older tech fell by the wayside. Just telling you there is no reason not to upgrade. You would not lose anything. And gain much. Your choice though.

Its a discussion forum...Plus I have just one more thing to add. Microsoft announced that there will be no WIndows 11. WIndows 10 is the last in the line of WIndows OSs. 20 Years from now PCs will still be using Windows 10 . ALthough it will still be supported by Microsoft ( The only OS that will ) and will have been heavily updated by then. So your going to have to get WIndows 10 sooner or later. Microsoft most likely feels they use to much of their resources supporitng multiple OSs. They want to only support 1 OS.

I refuse to get Windows 10 because I feel that previous versions are still safer. I will upgrade to 10 with my future PCs, but for now I'm sticking with what I've got.
Aside from that, I agree with Nertak, let's not get into a large argument about this, and instead focus on why we came here in the first place. While the game may be fixed for me, I still want to help the rest of you.
