Game wont launch

The game starts then crashes pretty quickly. I didn't have this problem on my old pc, but on the new one it seems unplayable. New PC is Win 11, i5 12600k and EVGA 3060ti.
Any tips on getting the game to work?

Create an exception ("whitelist") for ...documents\Endless Legend... folder within you antivirus software.

I'm not running an antivirus and other PC games run fine it's just this one. I wonder if it's a win 11 or Alde rLake DRM type issue.

If you are encountering issues launching Endless Legend with Win10, right click the game icon, go to Properties and in the Compatibility tab, tick the box "Run this program as admin". In some cases your Documents folder might be read-only, if that is the case be sure to change that setting too!

If the icon on your desktop is just a shortcut, find the Steam installation folder on your computer. For me it is: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Endless Legend (default installation folder on my secondary partition), and select the Endless Legend executable.

In case of Windows 10 you have Windows Defender (antivirus) activated by default. Create an exception for the above posted folder over there, as long as common fixes don't work. I made an exception and turned the firewall and defender off, it didn't matter. In windows 10 it was a non issue. I'll click the links later and see what's up with em.

The link worked, editing the system variables solved the issue, thank you for the help!

I cant launch either, it start goes to the sega logo and when the loading screen appears it just closes.

Try editing system variables or add game's folder to antivurys's execptions

I had the same problem after my new pc updated to windows 11 and tried the following thing:
r-click on endless legend in your steam library --> click on "properties" --> click on "Betas" --> and then set it on 32-bit.

after that i could start the game normally

In my case it worked after I added the .exe file of Endless Legend itself into antivirus whitelist

for 64-bit; Install (klite codec pack mega) for f... god sake. I was fighting against these mf intro last 2 days...

In my rig (Win.8.1., ATI graphics card, Avast free andivirus), what worked was:
ctrl-ald-del to open task manager -> then disabling:
- the 3Dexe (or similar name) process that ATI is running for my graphics card boosting (disabling this has helped me in a couple of other games also)
- disabling some of the unessesary proceses like cloudsomething and other (I cand recall their names now).
- disabling my Avast andivirus shields 'till restarting'

I don't know what prosess of task manager was the problem, since I didn't checked one-ny-one, and actually fixed the problem in my game just few minutes ago.
