CHANGES [SYMBIOSIS]

• Reduced "Reinforced Carapace" bonus to Defense and Health of Urkan and Lice (+50% -> +35%).
  
• Increased cost to bribe Urkans.
  
  • Tier 1: 40+20/Urkan -> 60+30/Urkan
    
  • Tier 2: 30+15/Urkan -> 40+20/Urkan

Additional stuff towards the download size - It's the Chinese movies. Own audio, etc. You can probably safely remove them without any potential danger.

Aside of that, I'd say you overreact - but you're of course free to any degree of personal outrage.

Someone reached into my library, broke my game without my permission or even a good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, and you think i'm over-reacting? If I bought a disc, put that disc into my console, and then couldn't play for 4 hours because I had a download, I'd think to myself "it'll be worth it". You know why? BECUASE IN THIS SCENARIO I HAD THE CHOICE TO IGNORE THE DOWNLOAD AND PLAY ANYWAY.

Do you know how much work is needed to program games (of this quality)?
The cost for the Base game is good, the dlc are maybe a bit overpriced if they are not on sale.
I got the game and every dlc except Symbiosis and Inferno (they weren't released yet) for 15€. Same with Crusader Kings 2, bought every dlc at a sale for 15€

And how did you even get to dlc and money grabbing companys on the Patchnotes of a free patch? Does it really matter or do you just want some attention?

In your Tech Forums, you can already find the fix, posted by a nice modder.

I think my opinion that this is DLC related is probably because the update was mostly for paid content.
But hey, you just keep on feeding money into that machine, I'm sure it will continue to work just as well as it used to, even if you clog the money deposit - i'm sure they'll keep working just as hard. Because companies always act with integrity, and they would NEVER degrade your experience by, say, forcing you to download a patch that is irrelevant to you because you own no DLC and do not speak chinese....

Yeah, this makes the point for me. I paid for extra features out of ES2, wouldn't mind buying an upgraded updated EL2. But they can get more money from DLC, so they did that instead.

Everything you post is overreacting, ignorant and whiny. First, you can turn off game updates and always be able to play your game without updating it. Second, you ♥♥♥♥♥ about DLC and yet havent a clue how business or the game industry has evolved over 40 years. Lastly these devs absolutely do support the community, you'd know that if you spent any time on these boards, the official boards or even reading the patch notes. They've provided tons of free post-release content and added QoL features the community has requested and a lot more. Just unsubscribe, uninstall the game and find some other dev to troll.

Looks like some 2 GB or so have disappeared meanwhile - check your game files, on my system it's less than 6 GB now.

sounds like some people don't have a good internet connection or a good income to support their game habits. Shame what cards people are dealt in life. Everyone should be able to play whatever games and as many games as they want :D

Well, I have both a good internet connection and money enough to "support any game habits" I may have, and my PC has plenty of spare disk space. Nevertheless I feel it's inappropriate that a game vendor dumps significantly more data on my PC without providing additional value for me (I don't speak Chinese - sorry), and without asking for my approval nor giving me the opportunity to get rid of the unwanted files, In this case we are talking about 2-3 GB more, or about 60-70% more. If you feel that's ok, fine with me, but I don't feel it's ok.
Luckily, the game vendor seems to have found a way to reduce the disk space almost back to normal for me, and I can live with that.

The large download size was caused by a mistake in creating the repositories. The redubbed intro videos had not been properly marked to be only downloaded if the game is set to Chinese. We fixed that issue the morning after release, so nobody should have to download 2GB of data they don't need anymore.
If it does still happen, please let us know.

No, I mean the hang on enemy turn. It is a simple fix. Complete riddle to me, why the devs do not implement.
