Drakken Ancient unit model?
I'd like to hear some people's opinions on whether it's absolute garbage or not. Personally, the only time I can see it being useful is in combination with other troops used to defend cities from enemies who manage to get around your wall of forced truces. Reason being that Shared Wisdom gives extra morale(attack and defense) to units adjacent to the Ancient.

You put the Ancient in the center of a tight circular formation with Drakkenlings/Militia and the governer on all sides of it, positioned inside the city for the extra morale that gives. Have the dudes around the Ancient, and the ancient himself hold position, and any spare Drakkenlings/Militia and Wyverns can rush the enemy trying to do as much damage as possible and disrupt any Rangers who want to shoot for the Ancient to remove the buffs it's giving the defending troops.

The extra defense would make those troops very tough to land hits on for most people, especially with strategic gear, and the Ancient can have a Magewand to debuff enemy attack if they get in range. Still, IDK how "worth it" the unit is because that's pretty much all it's good for that I can see. Also, if you don't build the Ancient that's one more slot to have an extra Drakkenling or Wyvern in the garrison.

Some kind of ranged/support unit is needed in battles with chokepoints, otherwise 6 turns will pass and nothing happened, especially with regeneration gear. With the drakken, I put a couple of ancients in with 6 drakkenlings for my main army stack. Otherwise, I keep wyverns as city garrison to pick off raiders or reinforce as needed. Of course, what you have for minor factions and what your strong opponent is will make a difference.
