Endless Siege?
I'm not getting how Siege is supposed to work. I have 4 groups of 8 surrounding an enemy city doing over 250 damage per turn and I've been at this for around 15 turns. After the first five turns, the Fortification was zero, the defenders was zero and the catapult symbol is still turning. It's been like that for ten turns. Is this right? What's supposed to happen now and when should I expect it? Am I missing something?

The siege command is used to weaken the enemy defenders. Once they are softened up to your liking, you should order your army to attack the city.

Fortification is essentially bonus hp given to all defenders when a city is attacked. After fortification runs out, additional sieging will lower the hp of units inside the city. At this point everyone inside the city is probably dead, but if the enemy has any units near the city you may still have to face reinforcements when you attack.

You can go on sieging for hundreds of turns, or just decide to attack city. For to attack left mouse click on one of your 4 armies and right mouse click on city to attack. In your case (32 units ready to attack) you could have decided to attack immediately. In my opinion you would have crushed the city defenders even without sieging (if you have a good unit equipment compared to defenders).
