Wow this looks incredible. As big fans of Civ V and VI me and my wife’s boyfriend are incredibly excited for this one. I hope it exceeds and surpasses all of our expectations. So far it’s looking great.

I've been a Civ player since the first Civ on Amiga Commodore 600. I'm really happy that you have moved away from Civ VI in the design, both in art-style, but more importantly also in game mechanic designs. If these "new" mechanics will actually be fun and work well together (implemented and executed well) remains to be seen (most of them I have seen and played with in various iterarions in other 4x games and enjoyed them there, changing culture with ages, crisises, barbarian invasions, plagues, cities vs towns or outposts etc). Even if they might not be totally new inventions or unique to Civ VII, it might be nice to have them all mixed together in a single game. I'm willing to try anything new with Civ since Civ VI has basically made me keep playing Civ V and sometimes Civ IV (and some other turnbased 4x games) instead for a very long time now. Civ IV and V were entries into the franchise I liked. Hopefully Civ VII will be an entry I enjoy as well and I can totally ignore/forget (erase from my memory) Civ VI, just like I ignored/forgot windows 8 and skipped right to the next version.

Can we get vercingetorix for the gauls or Cassivellaunus?

I really don't see why there was (and still is) so much hate for VI. It wasn't so bad that it warrants "erasing it from my memory", I actually quite enjoyed it and found the game fun, alongside V. Yes, it's different from V, but that's... good? It keeps the franchise from getting stale? It's not like a major FPS game where you can keep putting out the same slop year after year, be it games or updates. I really do think that this will be something like Beyond Earth, that got a lot of hate - not to be confused with criticism, of which not all was unwarranted.

Honestly, VII is the least excited I've been ever since I started playing Civ. But it won't stop me from trying it multiple times, and even if I don't like it, I'm not going to spit on it because it's not something catering to what I think it should be. The devs have a creative vision, and if it doesn't connect with me, so be it, it doesn't mean it should stop existing.

The Qing Dynasty is a history of barbarian colonization. If you consider the sales volume of 99% Han Chinese in China, please do not add Qing Dynasty elements.

Please post about this kind of stuff in the Civ VII forum. I understand you're trying to run a business, but this isn't an announcement about Civ VI.
