I never said it activated them... I said reloaded, as in if you removed them, it will put the files back on the computer... There are so many people complaining that they followed your method, including myself, and it didn't work. This will work.

Not sure if its the game or do i have a bug , but my religion is not working. On the great people tab, their's nothing and it states that all great people have been used . Is this happeneing to others thanks for your time.

Expected cross platform compatibility and I get another disappointment. Instead I get lower fps and a laggier game...
Both my windows and linux (which is now over 20Gb just for the game and wayy slower than the windows version) are slow af now thanks to this useless update. The game has been out for a year and a half and still no cross platform multiplayer wtf Minecraft has xbox/mobile/pc multiplayer compatibility and Windows/Mac is just too much to ask for a game we pay 80 bucks

The update can't have slowed down you Linux system, because the update isn't out on Linux.

And cross-platform MP won't happen without the Mac/Linux versions being updated, which they haven't been. I would guess that that update will happen around the time they release R&F for Mac/Linux. Aspyr have said they are aiming for, but not promising, release around the end of March. Linux releases have matched Mac releases so far.

I have a question. When you conqure a Free City, that broke away from another civ, and I take it with military. Why cant I raise the city? It wasnt a capital and I wasnt at war.

Is this a bug, or is it meant that all Free cities can not be raised?

This broke my game. How do I roll back? Clicking my mouse can no longer move units on the map. I can click on cities, but I can't drag mouse to move map around, and I can't click on map to move units

How do I tell if the February patch is installed? I killed and re-started Steam, but saw nothing that looked like a patch installation.

@blue: if you start the game while Steam is in online mode, it makes sure it is up to date. However, if you're on Mac or Linux, you won't have the patch yet.

Still no 1080p text scaling fix. Still unplayable.

How small (or far away) is your screen if the text isn't readable at 1080p?

If you turn auto-update off or load Steam in offline mode, there will be no update." - you're wrong, if you try to start the game it will attempt to update and will not launch until it is updated. You COULD load Steam in offline mode and play, but for this to work, you should have done that BEFORE Steam got notified that CIV6 needs an update, so it's too late now unless you're in offline mode most of the time. Updates ARE FORCED, that's why when CIV5 dropped WinXP support I had to migrate to Win7.

And no, this is not just for playing online, the game WILL NOT LAUNCH AT ALL unless updated, no matter if you want to play online or not. You can play the previous version only if you've been sitting in the offline mode all the time.
