Can i play the demo with Linux?

Considering what Civ V turned out to be, considering the hype for the release of this game, and considering the reviews they managed to get just prior to launch, this can actually not be seen as anything else than a flop. Not near Civ V, nowhere near the hype, and on the other side of the planet when comparing reviews to how it actually is to play the game.
Yes, it does seem like they're really trying to get ppl to play this game, and yet still more ppl decide to play Civ V.

This has has failed to catch people's imagination and sell or st least be as popular as civ 5. Maybe it was a bridge to far doing six, and especially after the disaster of beyond earth.The goose has run out of golden eggs...

I cannot launch the demo, when I click play, prep window pops up and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Many sites I know praised civ4 & civ6 more than civ5. I dont why someone trying civ6 would return to civ5...

I think the graphics is soulless.

As if everthing from Civ 5 turned from graphics into icons, meanignless graphics with Civ 6.

Civ 5 was and still is a good game. The reasons that someone might go back to it are many, but scenarios and achievement hunting are probably in the top 5. So there ya go; knowledge is power.
