Constant Desync
Started playing a game with my friend earlier and once we hit a certain point, I get desync'd every turn with him as the host. My internet connection has been stable with no interruptions, so it's not that. Has this happened with anyone else?

This is happening for us too, it's pretty much desyncing every single turn.

It was working just fine for quite some time but now it's happening every turn.

We get desynced already on turn 2, every game, so playing multiplayer is impossible right now

A workaround is to save the game and rehost the game from the save. You can also try having everyone restart the game before loading the save.

Yeah me and 6 of my friends are having the same issue. It always happens around turn 20, & the whole save and reload thing is a sham, it didn't work for us twice. $68 and yet this games multiplayer is non-existent. I hope you guys fix it, I love VI way more than V.

Can confirm that reloading doesn't work. The game also does a one-sided reload on my friend's computer to resync him with the game, but it will continue to desync and go back into the reloading screen every 1-2 turns.

Hi, same issue for a 2 players with 6 six civs... constant desync every 1-2 turns once reaching a mid-end age. Got saves with the issue if it helps... Really a shame because if was a very nice experience until it started happening.

I was experiencing constant desyncs as a direct result of Windows 10 assigning the Civ VI process priority to 'Below Normal'. Raising the priority would fix it, until Windows 10 would lower it again.

This is happening for me as well, starting at around turn 60 - I'm hosting the game, my friend has to reload constantly. Loading the save does not change this. Desyncs are happening at least every 3rd turn...
My friend and I would gladly provide logs to get this fixed. :)

In Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\UserOptions.txt, ensure the following settings are set (on both machines) as shown:
[Logging]

;Enable network message logging
NetMessageLogs 1

AiDiplomaticActionLog 1

After turning the logging on for both players, play the game until you get a desync. After that, on both machines, exit the game and zip up your Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs. Post those zip files somewhere and post a link.

MP desync has been in every civ game, ever. As per google search.

I haven't tried MP in civ6 yet though. Looking forward to trying it then promising myself I won't buy the expansions or CIV7 after getting desync, then buying them anyway.

Me and my friend having desync issues regularly. Can't even play two rounds without him desyncing then crashing his game.
Here are the logs you wanted, hope it helps to find the issue and fix it:

Log folders were cleared before we reproduced the issue, so it's not cluttered with previous log entries.

Updating on my own status, it's happened much less often than it did on day one, but still seems to happen after we've been playing for a couple hours or so. Also, thank you for your involvement in handling this issue, razorace!
