One solution that a friend with a background in networking found is disabling IPv6 in ethernet adapter settings. (and running through IPv4 instead)
[EDIT] Here's a list of the settings I changed at his recommendation.
Control Panel - Network and Internet - Network Connections - Ethernet - Properties
QoS Packet Scheduler disabled (default is enabled)
Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) disabled (default is enabled)
Control Panel - Network and Internet - Network Connections - Ethernet - Properties - Configure - Advanced
Large Send Offload (IPv4) disabled (default is enabled)
Hope this helps, we haven't had any issues with desyncing since changing these settings, despite having about 70 mods running. (79 according to workshop subscribed files, but a few are disabled in-game)
MP is broken
If you found a fix please share. This randomly started happening and my PC has top specs and I have never installed mods for the game.
Same here. I'm trying Notrel's fix.
Before every single multiplayer game, have all of the players verify the integrity of their game files (library > right click civ 6 > properties > local files > verify).
Since we started doing this we have had no issues.
