Hello all, I had run into some problems with joining my friends on Civ 6. I would try to join and my screen would say, "Connecting to Players" then drop me. Now, on my friends' side, they see me join, I am in the lobby, then there is a message claiming I am missing Mods and the game will boot me.

After speaking with useless support agents, my brother and I have noticed that if you cannot join a game using a Steam Invite, try using the "Join Game Code". This worked every time for us without any issues.

I wanted to create this thread so that word can be spread to maybe help anyone with the same problem.
