Subscribed to mods, now city states are missing and leaders' civ names are mixed up during multiplayer

My partner and I subscribed to the same mods used by potatomcwhiskey from his profile and now we have some of the top right buttons missing, city-states are missing, and leaders' civilization names are mixed with each other (Rome was named China and vice versa). We've tried to disable the mods which did not help so now we're lost on what to do. Much appreciated
