Civ6 down following Windows Update

Hi, I updated my computer to Windows 11, version 24H2 and since then, Civ6 (DX12) only tells me this sad message: "Graphics settings error. Please ensure that your system has a compatible graphics card properly configured."
But everything seems OK with the system and graphics card... (and all my other Steam games are OK too)
If you have an idea?

same. Crashes every time. In my case, I can get a game started and/or load a previous game, but I'm only getting about 5 turns in before the game crashes.

To further this the error dialog I see is...

"Display device has failed. Please ensure your display drivers are up to date. Exiting."

Have you tried the usual, verify game files, delete steam cache and restart? You can also try starting with DX11, just to see if that works.

Hello, yep! Still off with DX12 but functional with DX11 indeed

Maybe try to repair/reinstall DirectX.

I basically uninstalled/reinstalled Civ VI and then also went into the BIO and set the graphics memory to max. That seemed to have fixed the issue for me.
