Steam Deck and 2K linking

I just got a steam deck and transferred the entire library over from my PC. First time I launched Civ 6, it's not linked to the 2K account and I can't click the 2K logo.

Tried contacting 2K support and since it isn't a Widoze install, they told me to go to Aspyr. Told them there wasn't an issue with the game, just the link.

I had this issue when I had to reinstall the game on the PC. Something about my birthday, which is crap in this case since it's listed correctly on the 2K site.

Unlinked the account, logged out, logged back in, linked it and still nothing. Getting ready to uninstall it from the SD and reinstall to see what happens.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

I haven't been able to log in to 2K games on my iPad version in YEARS. It always errors out saying that it is already linked to another Game Center account. Which of course, I have never had another, as I still have the original Apple account I created back in like 2008, not even an email change.

I even tried the route of logging into 2K to disconnect whatever account they claim is linked, but of course, Game Center is the only thing not listed there as something you can disconnect. Every other platform on the sun, lol.

Sorry for the sidetrack, none of my issues seems to overlap with yours, other than the fact that it just doesn't seem very important to Aspyr to get it fixed.

LOL, due to replying here I decided to try this again just now. And wouldn't you know it, Game Center is now listed as something to disconnect. Gonna try that, but won't be able to really give it a try until I get home from work later today. If this works, this of course means my issue was never with Aspyr, but with 2K all along. Not altogether surprising.

edit: Bah, no luck, same old error.

I solved it on my steam deck. Make sure the steam decks name is the same name as the account linked on 2k . Go to your settings and change your steam deck name there
