How Do I Limit FPS In This Game?

Good morning,

it seems like the game is causing my CPU to almost overheat. (Every other game works fine and I have a very good gamer PC.)
I've googled it and some people wrote online that they fixed the issue by lowering their games FPS to 30FPS.
Sadly I can't find the option/don't know how to do it.
(I've already set every Graphics Setting the game has to the lowest option. I don't mind bad graphics and low FPS. From 2012-2019 I only had a laptop on which I was able to play minecraft with 6 FPS on the lowest graphics settings.)

you can limit each games fps individually using nvidia control panel

There's an option that says frame limiter (put the number you want). Or you can just activate vsync.
