Strange borders, black borders, hollow cities, missing civ icon

So Im not sure if Im explaining this correctly, but Ive noticed a small issue thats bugging me a little since the release of GS. Im not sure if its because of mods that im playing with, even tho theyre pretty much basic, alot of civ players have them, but the borders along civs are all black and the civ that has this has its units missing theirs civs icon above them, all u can see is a health bar. the only way to differentiate them from other units is by zooming in and looking at their color to determine what civ they are unless the combat system tells u otherwise. i noticed this only happens for 1 or 2 civs per game, the rest are fine they still have their colors and civ icons/coat of arms, whichever its called. i can upload some screens for proof,has any1 else experienced this? mods im using:

RED modpack
Ynaemp
unique district icons
historical religions
religion expanded
goody good huts

I have the exact same issue, and use some of the same mods you use: RED, Goody Good Huts, and YNAEMP.

I think it has to do with the new jersey system and color incompatibilities.

I've recently fallen on the same bug. I'm currently gonna try the Prismatic mod and see if that fixes it.

It's a "bug" that stems from having too many civs and city-states that the game runs out of possible combos in its vanilla colour palette.
