CIV 6 How do I play with mods?
I subscribed to several mods, I restarted steam, restarted the computer.
I can see them in game when I click additional content and subscribed items, but I do not know how to enable them or start a game using these mods.

Can someone enlighten me?

they are automaticly enabled. if you want to disable them you click on the mod.

Hm, when I go to additional content, I see all the normal DLC stuff und installed but no mods, when I click subscribed, I see the mods I have subscribed to, but there is only a view button and no option to enable or disable it.

Should be working fine for Windows, unless there somthing wrong with the mod, try a few others.

Subscribe to mods via steam out of game and when the game its not running to ensure mods are downloaded.
In game on the welcome screen clicking on additional content should list the mods with check boxes.
When in an actual match, press esc and it should list the mods that are active/working.

Ah I figured it out.
It was the ransom protection from bitdefender that interfered with the mods working or downloading...

I am also having problems getting mods to work with Civ VI. I am subscribed to one specific one here, have restarted Steam and my computer, and still it appears in neither my Additional Content options nor my mods folder.

Workshop mods appear in your workshop content folder, under your Steam library folder, not in the game's directory under Documents\my games\

You might have a wedged additional content database. Try deleting Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods.sqlite

Also, it could be, as others have suggested, down to security software.
